Double room was brand-new and well decorated on the main level. Coffee & tea making facilities and fridges were nice. The location was best possible and prime in a very very nice area, near to entertainment venues and a cute theater with a bar. Also, the hotel was 15 minutes walk from Niagara Golf Trail.

We loved the inn and our room. It was spotless and inviting. Jimmy and Jake were wonderful hosts. They were very attentive. I especially loved the salt water pool. This is an awesome inn and we can't wait to go back.

The innkeeper, Jimmy, was quite special with his caring manner and helpful suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The atmosphere at this inn was warm and inviting, and very casual. Also, the location is perfect for shopping, beaches and walking everywhere. Parking, great. The warm, saltwater pool was small but lovely. The house itself is very charming. Morning muffins and good coffee were just right. In a word - It was "fun" staying there.
We were two active senior couples. The location of the third floor rooms was not ideal. A little redesigning of furniture layout would have helped a great deal. There was only one small towel bar in the bathroom and there were no comfortable chairs for reading. Limited space meant they traded the closet for a fridge, which was ok but cramped. The addition of the third floor was recent and needed some adjustments with the windows. Also the rooms on the front of the house tended to be rather noisy. It was a bit inconvenient having to go outside the building to get to the office, especially in bad weather. Overall, though, all four of us really enjoyed our three-day stay.

Albalonia is a very lovely Victorian style establishment. The inn was cozy and well maintained. The beautiful heated salt water pool was a new addition. The Inn keeper "Jimmy" could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The ambiance was classy and relaxed, with classical music playing on the double tiered deck in the evening at cocktail hour. The location was perfect for strolling in the town, and the walk to Perkins Cove and the Beach was fairly easy. The grounds had many sets of table and chairs, and an outside fire pit for gathering after dusk. We will definitely return, and hope that Jimmy is still there to greet us!
The room had a small shower stall, but that is understandable since it is an older house.

We were fortunate to come across the Abalonia for our very last minute stay in Ogunquit. Jimmy is a great host. He made us feel immediately welcome. Not being familiar with the area, he gave us a brief overview and some great recommendation for lunch/dinner/nightlife. The location is great. A short walk to the beach and to all the shops and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again and have actually started planning the next trip! Thanks Jimmy and the Abalonia.
